A visa is an endorsement document indicating that the holder is allowed to enter, leave or stay in a country for a specific period of time. A visa is valid for only 30 days per entry.
Rwanda visa
In Rwanda, nationals of all countries are required to have a Visa in order to enter, stay or leave in Rwanda. You can receive a visa upon arrival at Kigali international airport and all border lands in the country.
Travellers to Rwanda can also acquire a visa from Rwanda Diplomatic Missions of the country of residence before departure alternatively travellers without Rwanda Diplomatic Missions in the country can apply for a visa online and they can pay online or upon arrival.

This visa is cheaper than buying 3 different visas and it’s valid for 90 days. Your first entry point must be the country in which you obtained the visa from and the visa also automatically expires once you get out of the above countries.
Just in case your visa is about to expire, then you must apply for Visa extension while the old visa is still valid. The application must be submitted to Directorate general of immigration emigration offices.

Health requirements
A vaccination certificate will be required at the border post or at the airport upon arrival, the most common vaccination certificate is for yellow fever but other vaccinations might also be required in case of disease outbreak.
Travel document
All travellers are required to have a valid passport or other alternative travel documents with a validity of at least 6 months upon the day of arrival. You should also hold proof of onward/return flight tickets and hold all documents required for the next destination.
Passport photos
You must hold two recent coloured passport size photos with clear front view, no cap or scarf with a clear or plain background.
Sufficient funds
Travellers must also hold proof of sufficient funds to help them during their stay in the country.
East African tourist Visa
The East Visa is a multi entry Visa allowing you to visit Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya with one Visa
To apply for an online visa then you will need to fill in online application form from Rwandan website, after filling in the form and submitting then you will receive a confirmation by mail. The form must be filled correctly and all questions answered.
You can pay for Rwandan tourist Visa using Rwandan franc, US dollars, or by Visa/Master card though payment by credit card might not be available at all border points of the country.
