Detailed 2 Days Gorilla Trekking & Bisoke Hiking Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Hike Mount Bisoke
You will wake up very early on this day of your 2 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Bisoke Hiking Safari and converge at the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the hiking adventure and then begin the trek led by a park ranger guide.
You can also request the services of local porters who will assist to carry your luggage (it is optional) as well as support you as you traverse the slippery forest paths.
This hiking activity takes 2-5 hours to reach the peak and then 2 hours for descending back to the trail head. The duration entirely depends on the speed and condition of the trails.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in PNV and transfer to Kigali
Wake up very early on this day and take your breakfast, be at the park headquarters and prepare for your Rwanda gorillas trekking adventure. You will be briefed about this amazing activity and guidelines to follow while in the forest.
Later on, you will be assigned to a specific gorilla family, divided into a group of 8 people and allocated a park ranger who will lead you on the gorilla trek.
When you meet the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them as you take photos and observe them as they play, feed or even grooming young ones.
After gorilla tracking, you transfer back to the capital Kigali and head to the airport for your departure flight.
